The Trivialness of My Problems with the Trivialness of life.

Have you ever met people that no matter what happens to them in life, they'll never see past the scope of their own routines?

I've found that nothing and everything is trivial depending on how you look at it. Look at the lady out painting the trim of her house. You see her? She's outside straining her back, straining her arms, getting sunburnt, but why? To keep up the appearance of something that no one, in all vulgarity, gives a shit about. She be that lady that you see when you're driving, just for a fleeting instant, then the light changes and she's gone from your life forever. You'll never see her, you'll never think about her again.

But you know what happened next? The lady fell off the ladder, broke her neck and died. Her teenage son will never be able stand on a ladder for the rest of his life. But to an almost overwhelming amount of people, she's not even a glimpse in their lives. So many have born and lived and died in your life and you had no idea.

It's not really a problem, more like a fact of life. Look out the window, do you see all those people? They have no idea I'm talking about them. And they never will, actually.

But what most people don't realize is that life doesn't begin or end. You're already dead, you just haven't gotten to that part of the line yet.Everything that can happen will and has already done so. The only control you have is unconsciouly choosing which direction the bubble of your life goes veering off to.

Time is an funny thing. It's an illusion to represent spots on the line. By the line, I mean existance itself, not time. You see, every possibility, every turn on every road you have already taken. You did this the moment you were concieved. Your exsistance is a mangled, intricate web of lines. The bubble is your life at that moment...at this second you are reading the small white words on your computer screen. But in a day you will look back on this as a memory...your bubble moved. You can look out of the back of your bubble, but you can't ever go back. You will never read these words for the first time again, because your bubble will have moved by the time you reach the period at the end of this sentence.

Another common misconception? The people in your life. You can never share your life with someone. You can both be in the same place, at the same time. You can be that person's entire world, but you aren't their life.
You can affect people. You can move their bubble in a whole new direction just by something you do. But all the same, you're still just a byproduct...a part of the ripple.
Think about your ancestors. They are responsible for your life, but they are now long dead. You'll go by their grave, once, twice, but you'll never really think about them. You know something funny, though? You are someone's ancestor. You are the reason one person in the world exists, and they have no idea. You're already dead, kid...this is just the way things turned out.

*Big thanks to Neil. Remember the scones, the blue boxes, and the meaninglessness of it all, my friend.
